fondamentalmente, se nel futuro Dio vorrà (e Bill Gates sarà d'accordo), si potrebbe colmare questa lacuna dei CSS 2.1 ampliando il supporto dei browser a stili come:

img:before {
  content: attr(alt);
}

[img]tux.jpg[/img]

le applicazioni sono infinite: accessibilità, design, generazioni di hover dinamici.

Hi Gabriele,

nice demo! There is a small cosmetic adjustment I would like to suggest to the
first test:

img:hover:before {
width: 248px; /* you had 250px */
}

that way the generated content is exactly the same width as the image; you
didn't take the border-width into account.

There's also apparently a bug in Opera 9 which appears when using
:before/:after
on an image, which I spotted after looking at your demo. I'll isolate
it tonight
and submit it.
