query access vs mysql

con access questa query funziona benissimo..
con mysql manda in palla tutto...

provato sia in locale che in remoto....

SELECT hotels.DIY, (select count(*) from hotels as t where DIY = hotels.DIY) AS tot, hotels.IDPAESE_ISO
FROM hotels
GROUP BY hotels.DIY,hotels.IDPAESE_ISO;

cioè te vorresti tutti gli hotels raggruppati per DIY e IDPAESE_ISO e sapere quanti hotels ci sono ogni gruppo?

non basta

SELECT hotels.DIY, count(*) as tot, hotels.IDPAESE_ISO
FROM hotels
GROUP BY hotels.DIY,hotels.IDPAESE_ISO;
