spero di non aver sbagliato sezione...è il mio primo post su questo forum e spero che possiate aiutarmi...
posseggo due mail entrambe col dominio @virgilio.it (una privata e una per lavoro) e uso un abbonamento internet alice flat.
quello che vorrei fare è poter ricevere le mail della casella di posta didecata al lavoro su quella privata in modo da poterne consultare soltanto una alla volta. le consulto sempre su internet dato che spesso lo faccio quando non sono a casa quindi non uso outlock o affini...
so che quest operazione è possibile, in quanto in opzioni>configura>altre caselle di posta è proprio possibile fare questa operazione...e l ho fatta...il problema è che non funziona ma non capisco il perchè.
i parametri richiesti sono pochi:
-userid: e ho messo quello che viene prima di @virgilio.it dell altra mail
-password:
-indirizzo del server: ho messo in.virgilio.it
-protocollo: pop
-num posta server: 110
fatto questo mi è arrivata un amail che diceva:
Dear customer,
You have configured your mail service to retrieve mail from the
following external mail account:
User name : pincopallino
Mail server : in.virgilio.it
Account : pincopallino-in.virgilio.it
The mail service received an error message indicating that the
username or password specified for this account was incorrect.
The mail service has suspended attempts to retrieve mail.
To re-start retrieval attempts, use the Mail UI
interface to ensure that your configuration is correct, as
described below. If you do not have access to Mail UI, contact
your mail system administrator for assistance.

Ensure that the 'username' and 'password' field in your

account will be listed as 'InActive' indicating that
retrieval of messages from this account has been suspended.
4) Select the account and click the 'Edit' button.
5) Enter the correct information, as described above.
6) Click the 'OK' button to save your changes. If you make
a mistake and want to start over, click the 'Cancel' button
to undo your changes.
ora...mi sembra di aver capito dalla mail che avrei sbagliato a mettere username o password ...ma ovviamente è impossibile (ho anche riprovato piu volte per scrupolo)...
quindi chiedo a voi....dove sto sbagliando??
