[NORTON] problemi durante il live update

Ciao a tutti.

su un pc in cui c'è installato XP 2ed. aggiornato regolarmente con w.update, ho installato il NORTON ANTIVIRUS 2008 sopra la precedente versione.
L'installazione è andata a buon fine, ma ogni volta che si prova a fare il live update, il software scarica e installa tutti gli aggiornamenti tranne uno....
Il messaggio di errore che da è il seguente:

sonar up date bit system lo scrpt di installazione per questo aggiornamento ha cercato di copiare un nuovo filein uso, l'installazione he stata interrotta codice di errore 1821 livello dicriticitàdelle patch:consiglio supporto tecnico

Cosa può essere secondo voi?

Ciao e benvenuto.
Io il problema l'avevo risolto pochi giorni dopo seguendo le istruzioni (in inglese) che venivano suggerite cliccando su un link all'interno di NORTON (che dovrebbe comparire in corrispondenza dell'errore). Il link reindirizzava a una pagina del sito SYMANTEC dedicata in cui c'era la risoluzione del problema passo per passo.
Ora a memoria non saprei ripeterti gli step necessari, però prova a far caso a un link di NORTON (una cosa tipo "dettagli" o "specifiche tecniche"...).
Ricordo solo che ho dovuto eliminare una dll e mettere un pò le mani nel registro di configurazione. Cmq un lavoro di 10 minuti in tutto.

Find the failing Update
1 Do one of the following depending on your operating system:

For Windows Vista: Click the Start button, and then click All Programs > Accessories > Run.
For Windows XP: Click Start > Run.

2 In the Run dialog box type the following text:

3 Click OK.
4 Do one of the following depending on your situation:

If the LiveUpdate fails for SONAR Technology Update, go to STEP 3.
If the LiveUpdate fails for any other Updates, click "What if this didn't work?" at the bottom of this page.


STEP 3
Temporarily turn off product protection
1 Start your Norton product.
2 In the lower left corner of the window, click Options > Norton Internet Security or Norton AntiVirus.
3 In the right pane, under How to protect your product from hackers, uncheck Turn on protection for Norton products.
4 Click Apply and then click OK.

STEP 4
Rename the files
1 Start Windows Explorer.
2 Navigate to the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\COH


3 Locate the file sH0001.dll
4 Right-click the file and select RENAME on the shortcut menu.
5 Type sH0001.dll.old and press ENTER.

STEP 5
Run Liveupdate
1 Start Norton program.
2 Click Liveupdate.
3 Do one of the following according to the situation:

If the LiveUpdate completes successfully, complete STEP 6 and you are finished with this document.
If you are getting error message, complete STEP 6 and click "What if this didn't work?" at the bottom of this page.


STEP 6
Turn on product protection
1 Start your Norton product.
2 In the lower left corner of the window, click Options > Norton Internet Security or Norton AntiVirus.
3 In the right pane, under How to protect your product from hackers, check Turn on protection for Norton products.
4 Click Apply and then click OK.

Scusami, se è questa sembra solo che bisogna rinominare la dll, non parla di registro di sistema.
