We have built a team of the brightest developers and built our own web crawler, text analysis engine and web-based user interface. Continuing our expansion we are seeking to hire Intermediate / Senior Javascript Developers for our office in Stuttgart to enhance and extend our user interface.
You’ll be working within a highly-skilled team using cutting edge technologies such as Backbone.js and Node.js in order to add new functionality to our web application.
The successful candidate will:
• work day-to-day on the web app, a complex backbone js app served by Express on node.js
• be involved in the creation of new functionality through initial estimation to final delivery, as part of feature teams using scrum methodology
• be jointly responsible with the other seniors for mentoring junior developers
You should have:
• A good programming-related degree
• Advanced Javascript programming skills
• Advanced knowledge of HTML 5, CSS, and Web standards
• Exposure to Backbone.js, with an understanding of MV* architectures
• Experience of developing with BDD (or TDD) processes and frameworks using tools such as Jasmine, Mocha and Sinon
• Experience with Git (a link to your Github account is a plus)
• Familiarity with Node.js
• Familiarity with Linux/OSX
