    [la domanda è: Pentium M 4 e Pentium 4 sono la stessa cosa?]

    pensavo due anni fa di aver acquistato un pc dotato di processore Pentium 4, come suggeritomi da un amico e come richiesto al negoziante (non

    sapevo neppure cosa volesse dire 'Pentium 4', ma mi era stato detto, giustamente, di non prendere un processore inferiore)

    dal manuale utente Toshiba Satellite 2410:

    ora mi è venuto qualche dubbio: ma è veramente un Pentium 4?
    leggendo qua e là, vengo a sapere or ora di una tecnologia 'Intel Pentium M Processor' che, dal 2003, supporta in particolar modo i portatili

    (maggiore efficacia batteria, networking wireless e altro)
    ma quel 4 dopo il Mobile? come devo interpretarlo?
    forse ho effettivamente un Pentium 4, solo dotato di una tecnologia un po' più avanzata ('Mobile') in funzione dei portatili?
    se sì, me ne date una conferma?

    si hai un pentium 4

    solo nella versione per portatile


    processore uguale, ma paragonato ad un equivalente pentium 4 ha consumi più bassi e scalda meno

    Il sistema Centrino ha come processore un pentium 4 M

    grazie è un po' quello che speravo di sentirmi rispondere, mi era venuto un dubbio un po' 'stupido' forse...

    non vorrei dire una stupidata ma mi risulata che esista il pentium 4 e il pentium 4 m per notebook. l'M è nuovo e più prestazionale rispetto all'altro
