Carattere speciale per il punto

Salve a tutti,
stò testando il codice che ho fatto, ma su valori tipo 15.000,00
mi dà un errore sul punto dicendomi che non è riconosciuto.

Qualcuno mi sa dire se c'è un codice che identifica il punto (.) come carattere speciale?

Che linguaggio stai utilizzando?

non stò utilizzando nessun linguaggio, direttamente con html 4.01 (non sono sicuro della versione)

Potresti darci un link al report della validazione? Probabilmente il problema è più a monte.

Il sito non è online adesso.
Il sito della validazione è w3c.org...il classico, ma il problema è sicuramente quello, ho fatto alcune prove prima di scrivervi. Mi serve un separatore per i numeri....

Prova a fare una cosa. Validalo il locale come hai già fatto e copia-incolla il report qui.

Te lo dico perchè mi pare strano che l'errore risieda in quel frangente: il punto non necessita di codifiche in entità.

Da premettere che non è sicuramente per l'euro, già trovato il codice in quel caso.

You have used an illegal character in your text. HTML uses the standard UNICODE Consortium character repertoire, and it leaves undefined (among others) 65 character codes (0 to 31 inclusive and 127 to 159 inclusive) that are sometimes used for typographical quote marks and similar in proprietary character sets. Hai usato l'entità € per il simbolo della nostra valuta?

Controlla gli apostrofi, le virgole e i punti. Se li hai incollati da Word (o simili) è probabile che vengano inseriti mediante caratteri particolari, ma non codificati.

Prova, semplicemente, a cancellare quei caratteri e a ridigitarli nel tuo editor web.
